The campers will get opportunities to develop the knowledge, experience and leadership skills they need to make a positive impact on the world.

Character building The often overlooked key to success in any area of life is character. “Watch your character for it becomes your destiny”. In each week long camp we focus on one character trait to build on. The kids not only learns the principle and practical ways to build the character, but also are guided to think, discuss and apply those principles into the everyday life. This program involves character stories, case studies, group projects, story telling, discussion, public speaking and performance. With the help of art and animation, they develop their creativity, artistic expression, and effective communication while they practice their character muscles and virtues such as gratitude, respect, kindness, positivity, dependability, and responsibility. At Sunshine character camp we believe with the good character, we can not only get changed to live a more purposeful and fruitful life but also shine and impact others.

Leadership development Students are challenged to learn in new ways while building their intellectual capacity, leadership skills, and potential to make change. The program is designed to strengthen leadership, problem solving, teamwork skills and empathy while promoting a positive self-image. This program involves case studies, projects and physical and mental team-building challenges. We are also developing partnership with other organizations for service-learning opportunities that inspire young people to become active, engaged citizens who positively influence others in the community.
