The sunshine vision: TOGETHER, WE SHINE AND IMPACT! God has given us the “CROP” vision of Sunshine Shine&Impact! Ministry. “CROP” stands for the “Calling, Request, Opportunity, Promise” from God.
CALLING
1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” (NIV). We strive to live out of the calling of our life and through Sunshine Ministries and strengthen each other to develop:
- Steadfast gospel-centered self-identity
- Character qualities from the bible
- Close relationship with the God
- Life-changing and world-changing influence in Christ
REQUEST
Micha 6:8: “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (NIV). God has shown us His standard of what is good and requests us to love and practice that with a humble heart.
OPPORTUNITY
Matthew 9:37-38: “Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest”.” Ester 4:14b “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” It is a challenging era to raise children and guide them in the right way among all the confusion and harmful information around us. Such challenges also provide us with great opportunities to help and serve families around us, particularly in the area of education.
PROMISE
1 Peter 1:3-5: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.” Take the invitation into a living hope and we have been given the promise of eternal life and inheritance along this journey of faith.
