The Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) is a semiannual problem solving contest for elementary and middle school students. Sunshine Youth Academy has been hosting NLMC since Nov 2018 and served over 60 young math lovers in our community, we had 10 national honor medal winners last year. The goal of the competition is to encourage students’ interest in math, to develop their problem solving skills, and to inspire them to excel in math.

During the contest, students are given 45 minutes to solve 20 problems. Many problems are designed to challenge students and to enrich their problem solving experiences. The contest is for students in grades 2-8. And we will held special training session and review sessions before and after the competition to help students get the most out of the contest.
