The junior visual arts program is a great opportunity for younger artists to develop creativity and fundamental art skills. You will study different techniques and media.

Drawing and Painting This class will introduce a variety of two-dimensional media and techniques, such as graphite, charcoal, ink, watercolor and acrylic paints. You will have the opportunity to work from observation, and explore your own personal expression.

Material Explorations This mixed-media course explores both two and three-dimensional materials. Students will investigate a wide variety of materials and approaches, both traditional and non-traditional, which may include drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and collaborative installation.
